Fifth Harmony: 'We almost called our group something else'

'Bo$$' beauties Fifth Harmony have revealed that before they settled on the name they have now, they almost went for something different that was made up from each member's initials.

They posted a picture to their collective Twitter page earlier today (September 11) and explained that they almost called the band CANDL, which is comprised of each girl's first name initial.

It has also now been confirmed that Fifth Harmony will be making a special guest appearance on MTV's hit series 'Faking It', and the ladies will play “an all-girl band with an edge who cover pop music’s most memorable boy band songs".

The girls also just finished a tour with Austin Mahone and The Vamps, and tweeted messages about what a fantastic experience it was: "We've had the best summer of our lives..Thank u thank u thank u @austinmahone, @TheVampsband, @shawnmendes, @alexangelo & most of all YOU." Member Dinah Jane added: "Seriously the best summer ever! Thanks @AustinMahone 4 havin us on ur tour! PS: catering was on point! Let em know I borrowed the ketchup."
