Fifth Harmony on debut album: 'We're doing our thing in a more grown-up way'

'Bo$$' hitmakers Fifth Harmony are set to release their highly anticipated debut album, 'Reflection', this winter and they confessed that it's more 'grown-up' and urban.

Normani Kordei told NewsDay that there's a definite change in sound where their forthcoming debut album, 'Reflection', is concerned and it showcases their growth as a band and as young women:

"It's really urban -- it's fun, there's a lot of bass. I think there's a contrast between being vulnerable and, you know, 'Girl Power!' I think it's important to have that balance because you don't have to be strong all the time. We've grown as people, therefore we've grown as artists."

She went onto add that there's something more 'grown-up' to their approach now and they're still embracing 'girl power', but in a more mature way: "We still talk about girl empowerment because that's something that's really important to us, but we're doing it in more of a grown-up way."

Earlier this month, they were asked if there might be a couple of collaborations on the album and songstress Lauren Jauregui teased that it's possible: "We don't know yet, but probably yes."
