Fifth Harmony on being a group: 'It's a first for us all, but it's great to always have someone by your side'

Hitmakers Fifth Harmony have opened up about their close bond and confessed that while being part of a group is new to them all, they're so grateful to be in this together as it's amazing to share such a huge and important journey with each other.

Songstress Normani Kordei told NewsDay that being part of a group was a new experience to them all, but they love being around each other and now can't imagine having this success any other way. She explained:

"None of us had ever been in a group before, but we've adapted to it. I thank God for it every day. Now you always have somebody on your side."

The girls, meanwhile, are set to release their debut studio album, 'Reflection', in December and Kordei added that it's 'urban' and more mature than their breakout EP: "It's really urban -- it's fun, there's a lot of bass. I think there's a contrast between being vulnerable and, you know, 'Girl Power!' I think it's important to have that balance because you don't have to be strong all the time. We've grown as people, therefore we've grown as artists."
