Fifth Harmony on One Direction comparisons: 'It's flattering, but we're not that famous yet!'

Ally Brooke Hernandez, of Fifth Harmony fame, recently sat down for a quick Q&A with San Antonio Express News and opened up about being talked about in the same breath as UK based boyband, One Direction.

They were quizzed on being compared to One Direction because of their vocal talent show origins and subsequent success, and Hernandez confessed that getting likened to a band that famous is only a great thing although they don't think they're quite at the 'Story Of My Life' stars' level just yet:

"They are superstars and so massively successful, so we don't feel anything near them at all. When we get those comparisons, it's pretty flattering. But when I think about what we could be, I cannot believe it. I auditioned a little over two years ago, and with everything that's happened since, who knows how far we can go?"

San Antonio is where Hernandez calls home and she spoke about her love for the city, adding that the food is what she misses most when she's on the road with her 'Bo$$' bandmates:

"I always, always talk about the food. Tex-Mex is unreal, and tacos might be the thing I miss the most. I talk about the people, and how everybody's so friendly and how our culture's so unique. But it's mainly the tacos. I wish Las Palapas or Mama Margie's was everywhere, and I would do anything for Blanco Café right now."
