Fifth Harmony on VMAs win: 'Our fans went above and beyond for us'

Earlier this summer, Fifth Harmony won a special award at the MTV VMAs and they have credited their fans with helping them achieve that success.

During a new interview Q&A with San Antonio Express News, member Ally Brooke Hernandez admitted that winning the MTV VMA for Artist To Watch was a real dream-come-true moment and one they'll never forget:

"It's been such a crazy past few months that the VMAs just felt like a dream."

She continued: "I was so nervous, and when they said our name, well, “euphoria” is a perfect word because I'll never forget that moment."

She was then asked what the award meant to them because it was voted for by fans, and Hernandez admitted that it made it so much more special:

"Our Harmonizers (the nickname of Fifth Harmony fans) are so incredibly passionate and dedicated to us. They went above and beyond and won us the award. They'll do whatever it takes, so it just pushes us to do whatever it takes. We make sure to interact as much as we can on social media because I think our fans are all over the world and can help us reach different audiences."
