Simon Cowell has revealed that he is trying to secure Fifth Harmony a slot on the UK X Factor.

The American girl group found fame on the 2012 series of the US TV talent show and their debut album 'Reflection' is due out in December.

Responding to a fan on Twitter about the possibility of the band performing on the UK X Factor, Cowell said today (October 29):

"We are working on it."

Speaking meanwhile about the release of Fifth Harmony's new single 'Sledgehammer', Cowell added:

"I have to hand it to @LA_Reid and Epic. They have worked really hard to make a fantastic record. And thank you to every Harmonizer who have stuck by the group. That's real loyalty."
