Fifth Harmony tease featured artist on debut album: 'We hit some notes like this queen'

Girl group Fifth Harmony have once again hinted that there will be a special collaboration on their upcoming debut album.

In a new interview with PopCrush, the beauties teased that 'Reflection' has a song that 'possibly' boasts a featured artist and suggested that they managed to hit some high notes when they laid down vocals like 'some queen', which could be construed as a nod to Mariah Carey as she's known for her impressive range and the 5H ladies covered her song 'Hero' during their time on 'The X Factor'.

"There's this one song and it's kind of like a throwback vibe, but we made it current and we could possibly have a feature on it... it's really, really awesome. You could jam out to it and we hit some notes like... somebody - someone you know - some queen!"

Songstress Camila Cabello then confessed that choosing 'Sledgehammer' as their new single seemed the best way to represent the direction of their upcoming debut album, which has now been pushed back to January 26 despite having an initial release date of December 16:

"The album has a really, really good variety of sounds because we’re five different girls. We listen to different kinds of music. I feel like ‘Sledgehammer’ was a good way to represent that, especially after ‘BO$$.’ Just in general, it's a really relatable concept of being with a person you really like and your heart beating really, really fast.”
