Fifth Harmony: 'We're all minorities doing a major thing'

'Bo$$' sensations Fifth Harmony have revealed that it's empowering to be experiencing such great success as part of a girl band that is made up of members from varied backgrounds.

During a new interview with Billboard, the beauties opened up about the group's diversity and member Camila Cabello confessed that it's exciting to be bringing so many different cultures and styles to the same project: "We're all minorities doing a major thing."

Lauren Jauregui added that they hope their fans will be inspired by this: "We like that when girls look at us, they don't see perfect little blond-haired, blue-eyed Barbie dolls. We all have different body types and different skin."

The 'Sledgehammer' singers' interview will feature in the February 7 issue of Billboard and their debut album, 'Reflection', is available to stream online in full now
