Simon Cowell says Fifth Harmony are going to 'explode' into the big time

Simon Cowell believes Fifth Harmony are going to "explode" into something massive.

The girl group found fame on the US X Factor in 2012 when they finished in third place.

The quintet released their debut album 'Reflection' in February in the US and mentor Simon Cowell told Perez Hilton about his admiration for the group.

He said: "They've really, really jumped at the opportunity. They didn't win [the X Factor], but I could feel that they were going to be really successful.

"It's taken a while, and they've done it in a slower way than One Direction, but you can just feel that this band are going to explode."

Cowell added: "Take the record sales away, and they're are five really, really nice people. They've worked hard for this, and they love and respect their fans.

"And they get excited so easily. I love working with them."
