Fifth Harmony's Dinah-Jane Hansen has suggested that feminism runs deeper than campaigns like 'Free the Nipple'.

The singer took to Twitter overnight to give her thoughts on the global severity of gender inequality.

The US star posted a photo of four female acid burn victims, adding:

"Feminism is about more than dress codes and slut shaming & free the nipple so don't say it's not important."

Fifth Harmony meanwhile are currently promoting their debut album 'Reflection'.

The record was released in the US in early February.
