The girls of Fifth Harmony recently performed their single 'Sledgehammer' on 'The Ellen Show' and the episode in which they appear will air later this afternoon (February 25) in the USA. 

Member Ally Brooke Hernandez took to her official Twitter page and confessed that it was an amazing experience, writing: "It was so amazing, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH @TheEllenShow (you're one of my favourite humans ever)."

They also told fans to use the music recognition app Shazam during their performance in order to unlock behind-the-scenes from their time on the award-winning chat show: "HOLY SMOKES WE'RE SO EXCITED FOR @TheEllenShow!!! Make sure to @Shazam 'Sledgehammer' to see BTS fun from the show! #5HonEllenFeb25."

The singers, meanwhile, recently praised the devotion of their followers and Hernandez told VH1: "I love their passion - I love your passion and how kind you are. I love how you support us no matter what time it is, what day it is or what occasion... You guys are so sweet and so selfless, and I think that's beautiful. We're honoured to have incredible fans like you."
