Girl group Fifth Harmony have revealed their admiration for Little Mix and admitted that they would never feel as if they were in competition with them because it's great when females support and encourage each other.

Normani Kordei told Sugarscape backstage at the Summertime Ball that there's more than enough room for them to all exist and succeed at the same time:

"There's no competition, there's definitely room for the both of us people try to make it out to be girls against girls, but both of us are all about girl power, empowering woman to stick up for each other and support each other. And that's exactly what we do."

The girls also told KISS FM that they would love to collaborate with One Direction in the future: "It's a rumour, but we hope it's true. They're so down to earth. It was actually on The X Factor when we first met, and they were so nice. I think they were up performing, and they just went backstage and kind of talked to all the different contestants. And they gave us advice. Yeah, they just told us to make sure we should pretty much stick together. They are such cool guys."
