Fifth Harmony believe the US X Factor shouldn't have been axed.

The show was cancelled in 2013 after running for only three series.

Girl group Fifth Harmony were pieced together on the programme in 2012 and they have become one of the most successful acts from the show.

Speaking about the future gap in the market with news that American Idol is ending next year, Normani Kordei said:

"I think everything just evolves, so maybe X Factor could possibly come back."

Lauren Jauregui added: "Maybe Simon [Cowell] will come back with a brand new one."

Camila Cabello interjected: "I think X Factor should come back.

"It was really about artist development and I thought it was really cool that it was focused on the acts."
