Fifth Harmony credit fans with 'propelling' 'Worth It' to big success

Fifth Harmony star Camila Cabello reckons it was the group's fans that made 'Worth It' a success.

The band released the track earlier this year and it reached No.3 in the UK and No.12 in the US.

Speaking to Billboard, singer Cabello said that she thinks it was the fans who started the ball rolling by demanding to hear the tune on the radio.

She said: "I think it was really the fans that propelled that song.

"They requested it on the radio stations and they were so driven for us to have a successful song on the radio. We have a really, really passionate core group fanbase and I think they just worked that. They were just on it."

'Worth It' meanwhile features on Fifth Harmony's 2015 debut record 'Reflection'.

Cabello confirmed in the same interview that they are hitting the studio from today (September 21) to work on its follow-up.
