Ty Dolla $ign says daughter pushed him to work with 5th Harmony

Ty Dolla $ign says his 10-year-old helped him get into recent collaborators Fifth Harmony.

The hip-hop man features as a guest on the girl group's new single 'Work From Home'.

Speaking to Fuse, the US star said it was his young girl Jailynn who first encouraged him to listen to the band.

He said: "My daughter loves them and she put me on to their first album.

"It's cool to do a song that might be played in my daughter’s playlist.”

The track is the first song to be lifted from Fifth Harmony's upcoming record '7/27'.

The album - the group's second - will be released on May 20.
