Fifth Harmony admit that they feel new upcoming album is like a 'rebirth'

Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui believes the group's upcoming second album is like a "rebirth" for the band.

The US stars are due to release '7/27' on Friday (May 27).

It will act as the follow-up to the band's 2015 debut album 'Reflection', and it seems a lot has changed since then.

Speaking to iHeartRadio, Jauregui said the five singers have grown in maturity since their first record.

She said: "It was sort of like the rebirth of Fifth Harmony in a way because since 'Reflection', we've been able to mature a lot and we've been able to grow in terms of the content and what we want to say.

"The songwriters and producers that we worked with on 'Reflection' also go to know us a lot better through that process and we were able to deliver, I think, a better product of what it was that we wanted and where it was direction-wise that we wanted to hone in on.

"There's a lot more vulnerability involved and there's a lot more maturity involved, which we really, really enjoyed."
