Fifth Harmony pay tribute to 'best fans ever' after winning two VMAs

Fifth Harmony have reached out to their fans after winning at this year's MTV VMAs.

The girl group collected the Song of the Summer prize at Sunday's (August 28) ceremony for their track 'All In My Head'.

They also went home with Best Collaboration for their Ty Dolla Sign tune 'Work From Home'.

The band took to Twitter after the show to proclaim their gratefulness at winning.

Ally Brooke Hernandez said: "OOOOOOOOHHHHHH MY GOSH. WHAT. WHAT. WHAT!!!!! WE WON 2 VMAS!!! BEST FANS EVER EVER EVER. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. THANK YOU."

Lauren Jauregui added: "I can't even begin to describe how grateful and happy I feel right now."

Camila Cabello wrote: "GUYS. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! all of this is because of you. thank you so much @MTV !!! WE WON TWO VMAS TONIGHT."

Dinah Jane Hansen meanwhile said she was "speechless".
