Girls Aloud to release album box-set collection in May

Girls Aloud have announced the release of a new CD box-set in May.

The Collection combines the recently-reformed girl group's five studio albums - 'Sound Of The Underground', 'What Will The Neighbours Say?', 'Chemistry', 'Tangled Up' and 'Out Of Control'.

It will also feature two bonus discs, including a recording of their Tangled Up tour show at London's O2 arena and B-sides from their collaborations with songwriting and production team Xenomania.

The box-set comes complete with a hardback book filled with photographs of the band throughout their ten-year history, and exclusive new sleeve notes on each album. It will be released on May 13 through Universal.

Girls Aloud are currently on their long-anticipated UK reunion tour, which begins tonight (February 21) at Newcastle's Metro Arena, in support of their second greatest hits album 'Ten'.

Former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily recently revealed on Twitter that she will be supporting the group during the shows.

Band member Sarah Harding also explained to the Daily Star earlier this month that Cheryl Cole has been helping her prepare her dance moves for the Girls Aloud tour, saying: "I'm looking forward to the tour coming up. Rehearsals are hard work! I've got aching muscles everywhere but Cheryl gives me dancing tips."
