Cheryl Cole thanks London audience for "curing" illness

Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole says her fans' energy at a recent concert "cured" her from feeling ill.

The five piece - also comprising Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding - are currently performing dates on their reunion tour 'Ten' in support of their second greatest hits album.

The popular girl band played at London's 02 Arena last night, and Cole took to her Twitter page after the show to thank fans for their support.

She wrote: " London you were incredible!!! What a night ... Been feeling so poorly these last few days but when I hit that stage your energy cured me !! #imonahigh (sic)."

Walsh also posted a message of thanks on the social networking site, adding: "What can I say London..........you were on fire tonight I could actual feel your heat đŸ”„ #tentour (sic)."

Girls Aloud kicked off their 'Ten' tour in Cole's hometown of Newcastle on February 21.

Former X Factor finalist Amelia Lily is supporting the group on their string of concert dates, which come to an end later this month.
