Blow your whistles! Snowbombing HQ is chuffed to pieces to announce a huge marqué signing to add to the burgeoning bill: The Worlds Greatest Show on Snow is proud to welcome the Mercury prize winning DIZZEE RASCAL! We are reaching the Dizzee-ing heights with this first fantastic fire-cracker as this rapper is the first of 3 new fantastic acts to be announced this week! Hold tight. 

DIZZEE RASCAL will headline the The party in the Eristoff Forest on Friday night. Dizzee is no stranger to the mountains, having blown us away at Snowbombing 09 when he played ‘Bonkers!’ for the first time live and proceeded to shake the snow off the trees!

With Snoop Dog having canceled his European tour and missing out on the greatest snowy show of his life, we at Snowbombing HQ were faced with the task of finding a new headline act for the festival this year. We thought long and hard and searched high and low for the perfect replacement. An act that is worthy of on the legendary Forest stage; someone with massive tunes, able to get everyone bouncing up and down in a forest surrounded by the alps, and an act that will melt glaciers – And the rest! We are super-excited to let you all know we’ve found just the right man for the job!

Dizzee says ‘I can't wait to get back to Snowbombing the last time was wicked but this time will be even better headlining the Forest stage. I've got a few new ones to try out on ya and this time I'm actually going to learn to snowboard!' 

Dizzee Rascal fuses the underground urban scene with arena-filling spectacular showmanship and an explosive approach to performance…a nu-rave recipe which has seen his gregarious UK grime flava being ecstatically exported to all corners of the globe. Now the Mercury award-winner will play the headline set at Snowbombing 2012 in Mayrhofen, Austria and bring his unique brand of grime, old skool hip hop, jungle, rave and heavy metal to surely the most scenic festival main stage anywhere in Europe: a wooden stage in a forest clearing surrounded by snowy peaks…’Bonkers!’ 

DIZZEE will be showing his finesse on Forest stage at the amazing Eristoff Party where The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim, De la Soul, Madness and many more iconic acts have played. Where better to party than in the middle of the woods in an Alpine mountain town? The whole population of Mayrhofen will be donning their scarves and winter warmers for this breathtaking experience. Watch out for the ERISTOFF wolves who will be out on the prowl; expect the unexpected.
