Legendary Guitarist Wilko Johnson visits HMV to sign copies of his new album 'Going Back Home'. Fans must obtain wristbands for access to the event available on a first come first served basis with the purchase of 'Going Back Home'.

Finding success with pub rockers Dr Feelgood, Wilko soon became known for his distinctive guitar sound and eccentric performance style. He played on and co-wrote four of the band's albums before pursuing later projects, which included a one album stint as Ian Dury's Guitarist in The Blockheads. Wilko has recieved numerous accolades including Classic Rock's 'innovator' award in November. He also emerged as the star in Julien Temple's 'Oil City Confidential' documentary, which won a Mojo Award and has even become the face of his local pub Southend's 'Railyway Hotel' after fellow patrons had become so attached to his impromptu performances.

Following an awards show meeting of the british rock institutions, Wilko teamed up with The Who's Roger Daltrey to record new release 'Going Back Home'. The album is a reworked retrospecive of Wilko's band and solo work along with a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?'. The Express wrote that 'Going Back Home' 'bursts with enough energy to blow up the national grid', while the Telegraph said of the pair's Shepherds Bush Empire gig 'the moment that his fingers touched the guitar strings, those signature punchy, scattergun riffs which blazed a trail for British punk were unmistakable.'
