On the eve of the hugely anticipated release of his debut solo album ‘Bad Intentions’ (October 22nd), UK superstar Dappy premieres a brand new single ‘Yin Yang’, release via All Around The World/Island Records.

‘Yin Yang’ [produced by Nathan Retro & Dawood] deals a heavy blow of pop brilliance, blending elements of R&B, hip hop and electro, alongside lyrics that highlight Dappy’s flirtatious attempts to find his “Miss Ride or Die.” A shining chorus is accompanied by booming electric guitars and a steady beat that has more than a sprinkle of dancehall flavour.

Recorded over the last year, Dappy’s debut solo album ‘Bad Intentions’ is an extraordinary body of work. Club smashes, are peppered with soul bearing slow jams to create a confident collection of pop brilliance. The album features the No.1 smash ‘No Regrets’, ‘Rockstar’ featuring Brian May which reached No.2 this year and recent single ‘Good Intentions’. Created with the help of the industry’s most in demand production houses such as Fraser T Smith, SX, Nathan Retro, TMS, Dawood, Wayne Hector and Alf Millar, the album is sonic manifestation of Dappy’s personality.

Dappy was dubbed a ‘livewire performer’ by The Independent earlier this year and the end of 2012 will see him tour the UK once again. The sixteen date tour will be making stops at various key venues around the country, including Hammersmith Apollo, Manchester Academy, Birmingham O2 Academy and The Picture House in Edinburgh.
