STEPS PREMIERE BRAND NEW VIDEO FOR SCARED OF THE DARK

Steps have just premiered their video for disco anthem Scared Of The Dark. Directed by Howard Greenhalgh (Spice Girls, Muse and Pet Shop Boys), the video sees the band perform a brand-new dance routine in an array of dramatic outfits in true Steps tradition. The video can be watched here

Scared Of The Dark shot to the top of the iTunes chart last month knocking off the one and only Ed Sheeran, and also went straight to A List at BBC Radio 2, where it is currently their #1 most-played track. Scared Of The Dark, written by Carl Ryden (The Saturdays, David Guetta) and Fiona Bevan (1D, 5SOS), and produced by The Alias, launched last month and received praise from fans and critics all over the country, leading them to trend on Twitter and Facebook. Steps are confirmed to perform Scared Of The Dark on Live From The Palladium on ITV1 and the new BBC1 primetime Mrs Brown’s Boys chat show later this month.

Steps’ first album of original material since 2000, Tears On The Dancefloor is out on 21st April. In celebration of this and the band’s twentieth anniversary, Steps are taking their new musical offering on the road this November and December. The tour has almost sold out, and 7 extra dates have been added due to phenomenal demand. The last remaining tickets are available from www.axs.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

The band have scored fourteen consecutive top 5 singles, sold over 20 million records and reached Number One with three albums and three singles. They are BRIT award winning and hold the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley
