Øyvind Weiseth is a Norwegian singer / songwriter who writes sunset pop in both English and Norwegian. 

Taking inspiration from artists such as Kings of Leon, Coldplay and Bernhoft, ‘Inside Our Minds’ consists of intricate melodies, delicate vocals and perfect harmonies alongside featured vocalist Hege Nesset.

Øyvind’s brand of guitar driven indie pop perfectly showcases his musical ability. Having moved from his native Norway to study at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, it’s clear to see his years of studying have paid off.

His previous release ‘Hold On’ was played on radio in the US, Germany, Australia and UK. Before that, ‘Eventyr’ received airplay on Norwegian radio including NRK1 and NRK Møre. At the start of 2016, Øyvind made it to the finals of the renowned Norwegian music competition ‘Musikkprisen’, in which ‘Highasakite’ won in 2011. He then embarked on a nationwide tour before heading to New York City to play at Rockwood Music Hall. 

With ‘Inside Our Minds’ Øyvind creates an infectious single which deliberately builds towards a crescendo and leaves you wanting more. The song was premiered in an acoustic rooftop performance on The 2ube.

‘Inside Our Minds’ by Øyvind Weiseth is being independently released through Horus Music, and will be available worldwide on 24th March 2017. 

A full hand-drawn, animated music video will also be released on 6th March 2017.
