Bradford's Warme Speak Out!PLUS: New Single And Tour, Inc. Support for EofE And Legend Arthur BrownA British flag adorns the floor of the studio shot video to Warme’s new single ‘Give It Away’. Reminiscent of 90’s era Brit-pop (Oasis, Ocean Colour Scene, The Verve), the track oozes British values – a big talking point politically throughout England at the moment - but the band have a clear message for those who are trying to tell us how to live. Frontman Lee Walsh: “F**k POLITICS. People just want to get along. I sing in this song ‘I just wanna have a good time’ – and that’s true for us and everyone we know. Being from Bradford, we know what it means to live in a poor area, working hard to earn every meal - Cameron, Milliband and Clegg can all f**k off” The track is released on Monday 10th November, with the band out on the road in support. Dates include supports for EofE and the legendary progressive rocker The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown. A smooth intro builds via an edgy vocal hook, into a rocking middle section that leaves you wanting more. The five-piece from Bradford have worked previously with guest keyboard player Ian Maclagen (The Small Faces, Rolling Stones) on an album that was recorded in Madrid. Tours in Europe, tons of festival appearances and press as far afield as the USA followed. The band have a strong DIY outlook, with masses of self belief and honesty in their music. Taking influence from classic artists such as Thin Lizzy to Paul Weller, the bands previous single ‘Monday Comedown’ struck a heady chord as an anthem for weekend party animals dragging themselves off to work come Monday – the new single shows that Warme can chill, and is sure to capture new, and be a hit with current, fans alike.
