Sacrifice & Bliss - Experimental Rock Duo Backed By BBC IntroducingSACRIFICE & BLISS Infectiously Catchy Experimental Rock Duo Backed By BBC Introducing "Hit Me" Released Friday 4th November 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2DtTD-d5HY Infectiously catchy experimental Rock duo from London, Sacrifice & Bliss release their debut single “Hit Me”, out Friday 4th November 2016. As their single suggests, Sacrifice & Bliss aren’t ones to shy away from a fight, throwing ridiculously satisfying melodic hooks from all angles. Get your guard up because there’s no competing with such an onslaught of hard-hitting combo’s - you’re on the ropes for this one and your trainer may as well throw in the towel. Like Ivan Drago in Rocky IV on even more steroids, “Hit Me” is a monster of an Electro Alt Rock banger. Unbelievably, with such a vast array of influences from Sly and The Family Stone to Radiohead, Sacrifice & Bliss have created something truly original whilst providing a curiously fulfilling helping of familiarity. Innovative and enigmatic, all instruments spike excitingly throughout “Hit Me” providing a glorious tickle on the balls of your eardrum (yes, they exist – it’s science). The distinctive vocals of co-songwriter and bassist Roger Hany put him as the front-runner for your new favourite frontman while the dancing and inventive guitar work on “Hit Me” is enough to make even the most accomplished of guitarists hang up their guitar for a nice pair of slippers… why bother continuing when you’ll never be John K Lucy, the other half of Sacrifice & Bliss. Frontman Roger Hany explains that “Hit Me” was written about “breaking out of the comfort of your everyday life. It’s about taking a step outside of the recognisable, and knowing somehow, that what lies ahead will certainly be rough, but also, will certainly be worth taking the hit”. The new single has proven to be so instant that not only were the band able to deter a rabble of angry skaters at Brixton Skate Park (the location for the “Hit Me” video) from smashing up their drum kit with skateboards, but also managed to win them over and convince them to “Ollie” over a 5ft brick wall into on-coming traffic. With this kind of musical mind control, it’s no wonder the duo have already been picked up by BBC Introducing and 6 Music with “Hit Me” achieving multiple track of the week status’ across the 40+ radio stations already spinning the insanely addictive Rock Pop whopper. Fresher than your mum’s sheets on laundry day, “Hit Me” is released Friday 4th November and taken from the debut album out next year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2DtTD-d5HY Download the mp3 and Artwork for “Hit Me” here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rrhyap5ciyl7c72/AAAFcuTPzbxeWceOf6WfADAPa?dl=0
