Following epic shows with 60’s Rock legend Arthur Brown, Irish Punk Rocker JD Kelleher launches himself to the forefront of the Rock world once again with the announcement of his tour dates with guitar legend, Bernie Tormé in April 2017.

Kelleher will satisfy crowds baying for his trademark enigmatic performances across the UK throughout April 2017 including a return to her majesty’s capital at The Borderline with Bernie Tormé. London, the scene of JD’s notorious last headline show saw pleas for the Irish rocker’s immediate return due to extraordinary demand.

"Irish singer/songwriter Bernie Torme's rock credentials are massive, even more so in an Irish context. The same generation as Irish rock god Phil Lynott, he has dedicated his life to music and is still on the road - an elder of the arts. That I might step in and cross paths with him as an Irish artist myself, and within such a short time of starting out… it’s crazy-wonderful really, I can't wait. " - JD Kelleher

Following his triumphant occupancy of the coveted No. 1 spot at the heights of the Irish Rock Chart with his debut single “Love Will Tear Us Apart”, along with his second single “Imagery” reaching No. 2 in the Irish Rock charts, JD Kelleher catapults himself back to familiar territory at the top of the (Rock) pile with his most exciting release to date; “Avenge The Maybes”.

“Avenge The Maybes”, out now, is soaked in classic JD Kelleher swagger and defiance, akin to the likes of The Buzzcocks and Freddie Mercury. Irish rocker Kelleher draws upon his self-styled stage rage, humour and character to deliver a truly powerful performance that strikes a unique chord with his audience across all platforms of performance. With a visceral, stunning vocal, “Avenge The Maybes” is unforgettable.

Singer and Actor JD Kelleher, is known for his roles as Willie Pearse in TV mini-series 1916 The Forgotten Seven and Breandán Mac Gearailt in long-running Irish soap Ros na Rún. He can also be seen in a new movie of Macbeth, to be released this year.

The enigmatic performer has previously found himself as the vanguard of Ireland’s “Yes Vote” ahead of the Marriage Equality Referendum, announcing his arrival with the poignant cover of Joy Division’s 1980s post-punk classic: “Love Will Tear Us Apart”. The heartfelt rendition shot straight to No. 1 in the Irish Rock Charts and across all Digital platforms.
