ICON TALKS SA: AN EVENING OF EMPOWERMENT, ENTERTAINMENT AND INSPIRATION WITH GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ARTIST, ACTOR AND ACTIVIST TIP “TI” HARRIS  

San Antonio, TX (Oct. 2017) Philanthropic media and entertainment sensation Icon Talks is returning to the Alamo City bringing an upscale evening of empowerment, inspiration and entertainment.  

Icon Talks concert and conversation charity benefit will take place on December 7, 2017 from 7PM-9PM with "Grammy Award Winning Recording Artist, Actor, Producer & Philanthropist Tip “TI" Harris at the Tobin Center for the Arts, 100 Auditorium Cir, San Antonio, TX 78205.   

Icon Talks brings to the main stage a sophisticated evening of insightful conversation and performance from some of the entertainment industries most successful artists.  

Artist “TI” will give the audience a candid conversation describing his path, passion and purpose in life and its relevance to his success.  The onstage conversation will be followed by a 45-minute set of TI’s greatest hits.  

“This is going to be more than an entertaining show, it is going to be an evening of empowerment and inspiration headlined by one of the biggest artist of this generation,” says John Burns, co-founder of Icon Talks.  

Icon Talks will additionally be honoring special guests with Visionary Awards for their commitment and contribution to their community.  Awardees includes Tip "TI" Harris, as well as local visionaries San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Ms. Cassandra Carr- Minority Owner of Spurs Sports and Entertainment.  

Tickets for the sophisticated evening with Icon Talks featuring “TI” will be on sale at the Tobin Center’s box office starting October 16th, 2017 at www.tobincenter.org. (Cosmopolitan, business or cocktail attire is highly suggested for this event.)

The charity event will benefit 501(c)3 nonprofit Icon to Ican. The Icon to Ican Charitable Organization’s mission is to provide mentorship and empowerment programs for underprivileged youth in underserved communities and children facing life-threatening medical conditions to help them cope with social, physical, and economic barriers they face in their life. Icon to Ican offers a multitude of different programming ranging from mentorship, health & wellness and self-esteem, amongst others.
