LEEDS INDIE FOOD FESTIVAL: FURTHER DETAILS.

GRAB YOUR PASSPORT FOR HUGE DISCOUNT

Leeds indie businesses are at the centre of revolution and a mouth watering two (and a bit) weeks. Leeds Indie Food Festival will take place 7th to 24th May and is set to showcase Leeds’ blooming food and drink scene.

Over 80 businesses have signed up to bring a wide range of events held in the venues themselves, be it restaurants, bars, cinemas, art galleries, breweries and much more. The festival is brought together with the Leeds Indie Food Passport. On sale now and priced £15, the passport will give you discount at the indie businesses taking part, priority tickets for events and access to Leeds Feast for free, all whilst you go around collecting stamps and unlocking special rewards. If that isn’t enough you can get exclusive festival themed products like Patty Smith’s ultimate burger or a huge LIF inspired marble slab from Café 164.

The first announced events include the Chapel Allerton Street Food Party, the brand new Leeds craft beer trail (which takes a route right through Leeds on the search for the perfect pint). Lazy Lounge will be hosting a special Gin Festival. Hey! (mini-conference specialists, normally referencing design and technology) hosting a special food themed event. Salvos will be hosting several 10 course regional dinner evenings. The Reliance will host a wine and food-matching event. Latitude will host a special bank holiday street party outside their shop. Vegetarians and vegans alike will be well catered for with special vegetarian week menu at Roots n Fruits, Veg Out with That Old Chestnut and The Noonshine Café all taking part. The Gallery at Munro House are hosting a couple of special exhibitions featuring Bompas & Parr/ Food& collaboration and Northern Monk Brew Co. will launch their new beer 822 IPA during the festival. This is just the start and full list of confirmed events is below.
