The stars of ITV Daytime return from their summer breaks on Monday 5th September.  

And to mark the start of the new season, a new ITV Daytime promo launches today (29th August) themed around the famous final scene in ‘Love Actually’ where all of the main characters reunite with their loved ones at the airport.  

Played to the soundtrack God Only Knows by The Beach Boys and filmed at London City Airport, the promo begins with Phillip Schofield at the arrivals door with his luggage and Alison Hammond standing behind him. Holly Willoughby and Trinny Woodall spot Phillip and they are reunited.  

Meanwhile, in a twist on the Love Actually scene where Martine McCutcheon’s character, Natalie, embraces the Prime Minister at the airport, Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid,  dressed in a white beret and red coat, is waiting at arrivals to meet Piers Morgan. Susanna runs towards Piers who holds his arms out to embrace her but unlike Love Actually, Susanna runs straight past him to hug her friend and colleague, Lorraine Kelly, instead!  

The Loose Women are next with Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha, June Sarpong, Ruth Langsford, Janet Street Porter and Coleen Nolan all embracing in the arrivals lounge. The promo ends with a shot of the arrivals board. 

The promo aired from 29th August on ITV and there will also be bespoke promos for each of the individual programmes airing from this date.
