ITV rolls out new ‘Save Money’ brand, announcing new Susanna Reid prime time series 

ITV has commissioned new series Save Money: Good Food from Crackit Productions, fronted by Susanna Reid and chef Matt Tebbutt, to air this Spring under the channel’s new for 2017 ‘Save Money’ consumer brand. 

The Save Money Factual Entertainment brand kicked-off the year with the first of a range of shows aimed at offering viewers an unmissable guide to smart and savvy household spending. The brand launched successfully earlier this month with one-hour special Save Money: Lose Weight, presented by Sian Williams and Dr Ranj Singh road-testing the value and effectiveness of some of the most popular diet and eating plans available. It continued with Save Money: Good Health (6x30), currently on-screen, which sets out to give viewers smart shopping and spending tips guiding viewers on how to get the best value on the range of health items out there by road testing the latest health fixes and over the counter health products. 

Now, ITV has announced the latest series, Save Money: Good Food [8x30], in which Susanna and Matt will offer top tips on how to be a smart spender without compromising on quality or taste and prepare delicious meals every day of the week for under £5 for all of the family. 

Food is our biggest, weekly household expense yet 92 per cent of us have no idea what our weekly food bill is. Susanna and Matt will spend time with a different family each week to inspire them to save bags of cash by avoiding waste, with no-nonsense cooking to create delicious meals every day of the week for under a fiver. Commissioned by Priya Singh,

Commissioning Editor at ITV, and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment, Save Money: Good Food will demonstrate cooking advice along with a wealth of money-saving tips each week, based on consumer research into the real daily challenges facing family food budgets.
