TV personality and Olympic gold-medal winning decathlete Caitlyn Jenner spoke to Piers Morgan about her extraordinary life for Piers Morgan’s Life Stories airing tonight at 9pm on ITV.  

Caitlyn, who began life as Bruce Jenner, spoke openly about her struggle with gender identity, how she considered suicide and her transition to become the woman she is today. 

Piers also questioned Caitlyn on claims that the version of her book The Secrets Of My Life was sent to Kim Kardashian with a few pages missing from it. When asked if that was true, Caitlyn said: “No." 

Piers said: “So you sent her the entire book?” Caitlyn replied: “Except for the last few pages when I talked about gender confirmation.” 

Piers said: “They didn’t know that you had actually had the surgery?” 

Caitlyn said: “No I didn’t tell anybody. Why? It’s none of their business." 

Asked whether she really thought it was not the business of her ex-wife and kids, Caitlyn said: “No it’s not that big a deal.”  

“Nobody knows. I had to be honest, the book is about honesty. It’s called The Secrets of My Life.” 

She continued: “No it really wasn’t a big deal. I had already been living as Caitlyn for a year and a half, ok, nobody knows anything.” 

When pushed by Piers on whether writing in the book that she had transitioned but not sending that section of the book to the Kardashians ahead of publication was ‘wilfully deceptive’, Caitlyn said: “Because I didn’t want them to leak it to the press. Ok. And there was no reason for them to know about it.” 

Piers asked whether she didn’t trust the Kardashians, Caitlyn said: “Of course not  - of course I didn’t trust them, yeah.” 

Caitlyn also spoke about her three marriages and whether she would date now.
