Iggy Azalea aims for Katy Perry style tour theatrics

Iggy Azalea hopes that she can one day have a stage show like Katy Perry.

The Australian rapper isn't quite at the same level as the 'Prism' star when it comes to venue sizes, but it seems she is aiming big.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 'New Classic' maestro said that she hopes to have a theatrical show in the future.

Azalea said: "Opening for Beyoncé made me realise what can happen on stage if I get the same number of fans. I'd love to be able to have sets that are two storeys high, with me flying across the stage on wires and doing magic tricks like Katy Perry does."

Perry meanwhile wrote the song 'Black Widow' for Azalea, which features a cameo from Rita Ora - but it was the songwriter who was originally intended to feature.

The rapper said: "Katy couldn't get time to sing on the track herself, so we wondered who else could do it. It needed someone who could really sing, as Katy's voice is awesome.

"The sky's the limit for Rita. Rita's a superstar and she will only get bigger. Rita is a great fit. Her voice can blow people away."
