Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora have been confirmed to perform at this year's MTV VMAs.

The pair will team up to play their new single 'Black Widow' at the ceremony in Los Angeles on August 24.

The track, which was co-written by Katy Perry, features on Iggy Azalea's debut album 'The New Classic'.

MTV state that the duo will also provide commentary during the VMAs.

Azalea and Ora join the previously announced performers Beyoncé, 5 Seconds of Summer, Maroon 5, Usher and Ariana Grande.

Beyoncé meanwhile will collect the coveted Video Vanguard Award at the event.
