Iggy Azalea: 'I don't have to battle for what I want on my tour anymore'

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has revealed that she no longer has to fight for her creative vision because she has teamed up with production designer Baz Halpin.

The 'Fancy' beauty recently announced that her Great Escape arena tour has been postponed until September and it will now go ahead under Halpin's guidance. Halpin staged Katy Perry's Super Bowl Half Time show and also designed Britney Spears' Piece Of Me residency in Las Vegas.

Speaking to Billboard recently, she explained the dystopian concept for her new stage show: "It's going to be maybe a bit like 'Blade Runner', full of dark and '80s ridiculous fare but not in a cliché way. It's been great working with a new person who really understands my vision. It's taken some of the workload off me that he's able to understand what I'm trying to achieve instead of battling it, or it being lost in translation."

Azalea added: "Some things just work. With Baz, I really don't have to say it; he's thinking what I'm thinking, and it's great. I'm super-excited about the tour."
