Iggy Azalea will release the track 'Team' as the lead single from her next album.

The rapper has been busy working on her new record 'Digital Distortion' for a number of months.

In a fan Q&A held on Twitter recently, the Australian confirmed the identity of her next single.

Azalea wrote: "No. lead is TEAM. meaning: ive got my own back, i iam my own team. 20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet [sic]."

She added that there will be some "buzz" tracks released prior to 'Team'.

The rapper's first album 'The New Classic' was released in 2014.

The record spawned singles such as 'Fancy' and 'Black Widow'.
