James Arthur clarifies Paul Potts Twitter comment

James Arthur has clarified his recent Twitter outburst after being called up by Paul Potts.

As previously reported, the X Factor 2012 winner slammed his social networking team recently and apparently fired them on the spot.

He concluded that they should "stick to promoting Paul Potts" - and this has prompted the rags-to-riches opera singer to respond.

Potts told Arthur: "You're a talented guy and ur music is great. But you're not an amateur anymore. Criticising ur promotion team openly on here isn't the best idea. Their wages come out of your budget and there will come a time when you need them more than they need u."

Arthur then replied: "Hi Paul, I'm afraid I've been misunderstood.. The dig I made at my "HQ" was because we appear to have the same "HQ"...on two occasions they have gotten our accounts mixed up and signed off my account with "Paul Potts HQ" I have had to delete. I meant no offence, your story is inspirational and your talent is immeasurable. Respect sir."

The opera man then concluded it all by responding: "No offence was taken, and I certainly wasn't angered by it, I knew it wasn't aimed at me. I understand what you say and I noticed the tweets to which you refer. I just think you do yourself a disservice if...u take any grievances only in a public forum. It can make you look difficult, and can end up limiting your options in future. Make your management earn their commission and let them be the bad guy. That's what they are there for."
