James Arthur confirms he has left Syco

James Arthur has revealed that he is no longer with Syco.

The singer joined the record label after winning the 2012 series of the UK X Factor.

However, his outspoken nature and apparently sensitive lyrics dogged the Brit with rumours of label acrimony.

In May Arthur was again to forced into reiterating that all was well with his record label relations, but on Wednesday (June 11) the singer admitted that he has been dropped.

He wrote on Twitter: "Just to clear things up - I am no longer with Syco. I would like to thank all at the label for making a great record with me.

"I now have to move on and do something different - the future is bright!"

Arthur released one album with Syco - his 2013 self-titled debut - but his last single 'Get Down' only reached No.96 in the UK.
