James Arthur has put his own spin on the hit Frozen song 'Let It Go'.

The singer uploaded a video of himself playing the tune on YouTube on Thursday (January 8).

It sees the X Factor 2012 winner run through the Idina Menzel track with an acoustic guitar.

Arthur meanwhile this week said that he hoped One Direction fans have forgiven him.

The singer ranted about the group being a "marketing product" in 2013 in a conversation with a critical Twitter user.

He said: "Hoping some of the @onedirection fans have forgiven me for being an idiot a couple years back after my cover of and a big fat sorry! I went crazy is all lol."
