Hitmaker James Arthur has returned with his brand new single, "Say You Won't Let Go". 

The musician, who rose to fame after winning The X Factor back in 2012, unveiled the emotionally-fuelled track and accompanying video earlier today (September 9) much to the delight of his fans. 

Chatting to press this week about his journey so far, he confessed that he is glad to put the past behind him and move on because being in the spotlight has been incredibly challenging: 

"I look back on the character that was then and I’m embarrassed about how I behaved and how negative my perspective was, and how I handled the pressure. I went from absolutely nothing to a lot of people judging me overnight and it was really tough for me."
