James Arthur is currently lording an iTunes chart in the UK.

The singer's new track 'Say You Won't Let Go' is No.1 on the pop chart.

The former X Factor star released the tune on Friday (September 9).

Arthur tweeted on Tuesday (September 13): "Thanks to you #SayYouWontLetGo is number 1 in the iTunes pop charts."

The single is the first track to be lifted from the singer's upcoming new album 'Back From The Edge'.

Arthur recently said the new record has "loads of character".
