James Arthur dominates UK singles chart midweek update

James Arthur is still No.1 in the UK with his comeback track 'Say You Won't Let Go'.

The singer has spent the last two weeks at the top of country's singles chart with the tune.

On the midweek update released today (October 10), the song is 12,000 sales ahead of Chainsmokers' 'Closer' at No.2.

The Brit will no doubt enjoy a boost after performing the song on the X Factor on Sunday (October 9).

At No.3 on the midweek update meanwhile is The Weeknd and Daft Punk' 'Starboy', which drops one place.

Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj rise one spot to No.4 with 'Side By Side', while Calvin Harris' 'My Way' drops one place to No.5.

Bruno Mars' new single '24K Magic' debuts at No.7 and Zara Larsson's 'Ain't My Fault' is up four spots to No.12.

Olly Murs' fresh effort 'Grow Up' is a new entry at No.33, while Lady Gaga enters at No.34 with 'Million Reasons'.
