QUOTES:

Nanette Rigg, Founding Director of City Showcase: Markets added: “Building on the success of Soho Flea Market over the past three years, we’re excited to be holding our first Embankment Summer Market in the beautiful Victoria Embankment Gardens alongside the Thames. The three-day event will feature a handpicked selection of innovative products by the UK’s best creative and design talents, alongside stalls from this summer’s hottest food and drink vendors. The City Showcase stage will host the best emerging musicians and bands, and there’ll be lawn games and entertainment for all ages”.

Seán Devine, Vice President & Director, International Membership UK/Europe ASCAP says:
“The sun shines down the Embankment casting shadows and making silhouettes from the market stalls. Music fills the air like gossamer caught by a balmy summer breeze. If City Showcase did summer, this is what it would be like. When we were asked to be involved, there was only one answer”.

Sonja Ashbury, Fundraising Officer at The Connection at St Martins-in-the-Fields says:
“Being the Charity partner of Embankment Summer Market is a fantastic opportunity for us to raise awareness and tell people about our work with rough sleepers in Westminster, the borough with the highest rates of homelessness in the UK (a quarter of rough sleepers are located here). We will be making sure our clients get the most out of this opportunity by displaying some art work and photography they have produced through the Centre, which is a massive confidence boost for them and a source of income for them too!”

MEANTIME
Pioneers of Modern Craft Beer, Meantime Brewing Company was founded 16 years ago in Greenwich, London. The brewery is now one of the UK's largest but one of the most technologically advanced in the UK. Technology, Tradition, Taste and Time are what sets Meantime apart from the other brewers. Their approach is simple - Meantime put a unique twist on different beer styles that have been around for centuries and made London the global brewing leader in times past. Meantime believe the best things come to those who wait, and take extra time to ensure every pint is perfect. They mature the beer for a minimum of 6 weeks, rather than a few days, giving their beer greater taste and flavour. http://www.meantimebrewing.com/
