Joe Jonas won't talk about Jonas Brothers but admits he wants 'to become an actor'

Singer and one third of Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas, has revealed that he's keen to move away from music and into the realm of acting in the near future.

He made the comments at a recent red carpet event after being asked why Jonas Brothers had axed their tour days before it was due to begin and then deleted their group Twitter account, but deflected the question and instead opened up about his own career ambitions:

"I'm not going to talk about that right now... I think acting would be fun. I would like to [get into that]."

The 'Burnin' Up' heartthrobs were due to perform 19 dates across the USA this month, but cancelled all of the concerts at the last minute and following this, the stars then removed their collective Twitter account from the social networking site prompting serious split rumours.

Following the cancellation of the tour, the band's spokesperson, Jesse Derris, told MTV News that there is "a deep rift within the band. There was a big disagreement over their music direction."
