After Kate Bush’s ‘Before The Dawn’ live shows sold out within minutes yesterday (March 28) secondary selling sites now having listings for tickets priced high above their face value.

Tickets for all 22 dates that Kate Bush will play at London’s Eventim Apollo throughout August, September and October later this year went on general sale yesterday morning (March 28) at 9:30am (GMT).

By 9:45am the ‘Wuthering Heights’ songstress’ residency was a sell-out.

By 10am Ticketmaster wrote on Twitter: “After a 35 year wait we expected @KateBushMusic to be busy and tix flew out. Sorry for those who missed out, demand exceeded supply”.

Various online outlets are now offering tickets to see Kate Bush at inflated prices. Viagogo has tickets advertised for prices as high as £1250.

Face value prices for Kate Bush tickets were £49, £59, £75, £95 and £135.

Viagogo have released a statement saying: “The lowest ticket price on the site is £795 and the highest is £1,250. Just because a ticket is listed at a certain price doesn't mean it will sell for that much. There are unique events like this where demand and prices are very high.”

These listings have appeared despite procedures put in place to combat secondary ticketing. Tickets were limited to four per booking and photo ID will be required to be presented by the lead booker upon arrival at the venue on the night of the show.
