Kate Bush enjoys massive rise in album sales since start of residency

Kate Bush has seen sales of her albums rise by up to 8,000% following the start of her London residency.

The singer took to the stage at London's Hammersmith Apollo on August 26 to open her 22-date Before The Dawn residency.

It is her first live shows since her one and only tour in 1979.

Amazon UK have now revealed that sales of Bush's material have gone through the roof since the residency opened.

Sales of 1993's 'The Red Shoes' have gone up 8,000%, whilst 1985's 'Hounds of Love' has enjoyed a 5,000% rise.

Bush's latest record, 2011's '50 Words for Snow', has seen sales go up by 3,114%.

Overall, sales of the singer's albums on Amazon have gone up by 2,813%.
