Iconic vocalist Kate Bush has reassured fans that the fur she can be seen wearing in her new promotional photographs for '50 Words For Snow' is synthetic. 

The singer, who is a vegetarian and actively against wearing fur, posted a message on her official website that explained to her avid followers she would never sport a real fur garment and they shouldn't be concerned by the new images:

"Hi there, We have recently taken some photos and I just want to pre-empt any concerns there might be as I'm sure most of you will feel the same way as I do about wearing real fur. All the fur in these photos is synthetic."
