Katy B has spoken about how she auditioned for the part of Hermoine in the Harry Potter movies when she was only 8 years old. The part was made famous by Emma Watson.

The 'queen of dubstep' also auditioned to play Annie in the West End musical.

Speaking to The Guardian, the 'Lights On' singer said:

"(Annie) was the first time I had to sing. I auditioned to be Hermione in Harry Potter as well. They were like, 'Have you read the book?' I was like, 'No.' 'Next!'"

The Brit school attendee revealed that she didn't make music at the college but with her friends brother once she left.
