Lawson aiming to crack America with 'Roads'

British pop-rock band Lawson are hoping to crack the American music with their new single.

The group have released 'Roads' as their first U.S. single and frontman Andy Brown explained to ContactMusic that he thinks it's the right song for the audience across the pond:

"We really wanted to make sure that we waited until the right time, and I think that the first album was a little too soon. 'Roads' is the perfect song to help us have success in America."

When asked if Lawson is the kind of band that would appeal to music fans in the USA, he added: "I think so. Obviously I have some bias but I definitely think that it is something that American people will relate to. We're just really excited to get people to hear it."
