Lawson have been confirmed as the support act for Adam Lambert's upcoming UK tour.

The US star is bringing his Original High live show to the country for two dates this week.

He will headline London's Eventim Apollo on April 14 before playing at Manchester's Academy on April 16.

Lawson have confirmed that they will support Lambert at the shows, writing on Twitter:

"Looking forward to joining @AdamLambert on the #theOriginalHighTour this week!"

Lambert is currently touring the world in support of his 2015 album 'The Original High'.

He will travel around Europe before playing a number of festivals and outdoor dates in the continent with Queen this summer.
